I didn’t love this one, because I found it a little boring and very literary. Once I let go of my Americanized pre-conceived notions, I actually think it was one of the strongest films this year. Again it had a very strong aesthetic and concept, but the concept was highly stylized. The plot is impossible to explain without doing a blow-by-blow of the piece, but it could be described as a ‘Hinterland Who’s Who’ for either a wasteland Earth or another planet entirely (they never specified). Definitley catch this one if you can, but try to just go with it in order to enjoy. Maybe watch a couple of times, if possible.

I think this was probably my favorite of the short films at TAD this year . It was like a sci-fi version of a National Geographic special.
Although Treevenge was pretty damn fun too!
