Erhm. I have a lot to say about this short, but I’m very reluctant to do so since I know just how much time, energy and effort has gone into it, as well as into the feature length movie called simply ‘The Eternal’ that this intended to be the sequel for. This is one of those days where I sit behind my keyboard and feel like a significant jerk because, well, what the cast and crew of this short did was something *I’ve* never done and they should be very proud. Which is basically the nicest way I can say that I didn’t like it. It has excellent bones but falls down so severely on the production values and a couple of major scripting issues that I couldn’t really enjoy it. That said, I think that you SHOULD see it because, if nothing else, independent filmmakers who are out there and actually doing it should be celebrated because, hell, I’m not getting of my ass to make a movie – they are. And for what it’s worth, I’ll totally see The Eternal when it’s finally all done, too. Check out the site here.
