Here I am in un-sunny London, Ontario. Traveling here yesterday was an exercise in futility. I lost my cel phone and only noticed when I got on the bus, but the driver was kind of a jerk and wouldn’t let me take 5 minutes to go see if someone had turned it in. For those of you who know me, you know this is a major catastrophe. First, it’s a very expensive phone for which I opted to pay full price so as to not get stuck with a ‘plan’. Second, after email, it’s the primary way I communicate with people. So I send a HUGE thank you to the last good Samaritan in Toronto who picked up a very expensive phone and thought only to drop it off at lost and found.
Then I lost my keys. Found them in my bag. Then I lost my ticket. Found it in my pocket. It wasn’t a very good day.
I am, however, here now and I’m ready for the Genies. Are YOU ready for the Genies? You should be! You can find them tonight on Global and IFC at 9:00pm.
Review of Normal coming up later. Interesting movie. And also something new: I’ll be ‘tweeting’ through the Genies. Yes, that’s right. I’ve got a Twitter page now.
