Well, I think it’s big news. As of this weekend 10 Movies will begin the slow and painful process of migrating my blog to a self-hosted platform. This process will likely strip years off my life.
Starting tomorrow, May 9, 2009, the blog as you know it right now will continue to be available at http://10moviestosee.blogspot.com and, presumably, my RSS feed will still work until I move it. You will not find anything at www.10moviestosee.com until Monday, May 18. I will be posting all of next week as usual, just as a slightly different address. Update your bookmarks if you don’t want to miss anything (fun stuff coming up next week for sure… Star Trek! Wolverine! A series on LA! My Favorite Movies! A new addition to My 10!).
Also, last but not least, this migration is happening because the site has grown so much and the growth has everything to do with you, my readers. Thank you for subscribing and thank you for contributing to this community. The migration, while a bit of a pain, is ultimately to give you the best 10 Movies can provide. I hope that you’ll grow with me.
