So as most of you know Edgar Wright, a man I am quite fond of and hold in a great deal of esteem, is in Toronto right now shooting Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Being in Toronto was what made it possible for him to do The Wright Stuff series, which I enjoyed immensely. Tonight as I headed off to the corner of Bloor and Bathurst to see Troll 2 at the Bloor, I arrived to discover that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World had taken over one of my favorite intersections. Not only did I get to see a whole bunch of crew and gear and set-up and what not, but I also got to peak in through the window dressing of Sonic Boom and see them shooting. Yes. Me. I saw them shooting. It totally made my life.

Here for you I have some remarkably uninspired pics of the area. Sorry guys, but it was all I could get. I realize that Edgar is doing an excellent job of showing you stuff from the movie on his own, but these are MY pics from MY town and this experience totally rocked my world. Note the snow and the guy in the background carrying the huge roll of cotton batting. I was tempted to take some but since the guys on the set had been so extremely nice (seriously, nice) about asking me not to take pics I didn’t want to tick anyone off. They’re all just hanging out and doing their jobs. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
