What Did You See This Weekend?

I watched all three Terminator movies and Angels & Demons. Oh yeah and last week I also watched a movie called Bad Taste, which is a “horror” movie made by Peter Jackson. Yeah. I have NO idea how that man got to the Lord of the Rings. No one, and I really do mean NO one, should ever (EVER!) watch Bad Taste.

You? Anything great? Anything crappy?

Watched all three seasons of BIG LOVE. Didn’t expect much going in, but WOW. A truly great show with some amazing performances. Harry Dean Stanton is amazing. I know it’s not a movie….but when you watch them all back to back on DVD, it’s like a reaaaaaaaaly long movie.

LOL. Big Love is a show I’ve been meaning to catch up on. Maybe next long weekend? No, wait. That needs to be Battlestar, since I’m horribly behind on Battlestar.

Blasphemy! Bad Taste is awesome! Well, perhaps not, but I have a special place in my heart for it. Have you seen his other horror zombie flick, Braindead? Now there’s a cult classic if ever there was one! I do, however, remember the moment I heard Jackson was directing the LOTR trilogy, having only ever seen those two flicks, and The Frighteners. “It just won’t work,” I said. How very wrong I was.

Watched Somers Town, from Shane Meadows – great stuff. Pluss we continued chipping away at Season 2 of The Wire.

I’m currently watching a marathon of Slumber Party Massacre movies (shut up, they’re awesome!). Really, what do you expect from the gal who lent you Bad Taste? Oh, and we went to see Star Trek (slightly more awesome – I was impressed). I need to do a Terminator marathon before the weekend. So excited!
