I agree. I think that most people will balk at it, but if they can just get over the “reimagining” and go with it, I think they’ll quite enjoy themselves. To be fair, Ritchie is usually quite impressive.

I think it looks very entertaining, even though for some reason I thought it was going to be a dramatic, straight-performance. Still, I think it will be a lot of fun (even if there are probably too many explosions for a movie about Holmes, hehe). I hope this gets Ritchie back to where he was with Snatch and Lock, Stock. Two words though: Rachel McAdams
