The awesome folks over at Shock Till You Drop have had a TON of Nightmare stuff this week and FirstShowing just put up the poster, and so I provide it to you awesome people of mine.
Here I have for you the new poster (FirstShowing) and the logo, new art and a set visit (Shock Till You Drop).
The logo, poster and art show almost nothing, but still, it does seem that they’ve got the right feel for this project, which makes me happy. Platinum Dunes and I haven’t always loved one another, but it’s possible that the director on this project has a good head on his shoulders. I’m very pleased with the casting of Jackie Earle Haley but I’m also growing concerned that he’s continually being cast as either a perv or a sociopath (maybe he likes it that way). He’s got tons of range and I’d hate to see him get pigeon-holed.
I personally really like the poser, but my husband isn’t pleased. Why, you ask? Because they have changed the architecture of the glove. No, he’snto a purist, but he is an armorer and he just finished giving me a an earfull about how crappy that would be for the wearer and how much more likely you would be to hurt yourself wearing this glove due to the joint placement and what not. You see what I live with?
