I know a lot of cinephiles and we all have a list. You know the list, even you have one. It’s the thing you reference when someone says, ‘Have you seen such and such,’ and you reply, ‘No, but I really want to.’ Right there, you just put it on ‘The List’. Well, inspired by Shannon the Movie Moxie and her penchant for lists (actually, penchant is a very gentle word for the way Shannon loves lists) I have decided to create my own list of movies that I plan to see.
Some of these are movies I have not seen at all and some of these are movies I have never seen all at once, in one sitting. The ones I have seen parts of or all of, just not all at once are marked with an asterisks (*).
I think that I’m going to give myself until the end of the year to see them all and we’ll see how I do. It’s only 50 movies and there’s lots of weeks left in the year. I’ll report back on them and let you know what I think.
