Well, I’m not sure if I’ve ever said so, and I’m not sure how she knew, but Grey Goose is my absolute favorite brand of vodka (no pun intended) and there is no form of alcohol I like more than vodka. I’ll mix it with almost anything. So when I received an email last week from Grey Goose’s PR rep for this party asking if I’d like some pic when it was all over, I of course said yes. Keep reading…

You have to experience it to believe it. Because I know I didn’t believe it when I saw Best Worst Movie on May 1. I know, the footage looked bad, but as Edgar Wright says (yes, it’s an Edgar kind of day) the only bad movie is a boring movie. And this movie is genuinely awful and, well, a little boring in parts. That is, the parts without the crazy laying on of hands on a rock from Stonehenge, the double-decker baloney sandwich and the popcorn porn. Riiiiiiight.

Hot Docs yesterday was so much fun. I saw two movies and a short – Zombie Girl: The Movie with short film From Burger It Came and Best Worst Movie – all three of which were a riot! Sometimes real life IS just as strange as fiction. I thoroughly enjoyed the Q&As last night and have some footage squeaking its way through Blogger’s upload system to you as soon as I can.
