At 10 Movies to See Before You Die we value all contributions to our community. We welcome all opinions – agreeing, dissenting or neutral. We simply ask that all of your contributions are positive ones.
Comments Are Conversation
Please consider the comment trail on a post to be a conversation. Please do your best to maintain the flow of ideas and thoughts within that trail. If your comment does not relate to a comment trail we will do our best to move the comment to a more appropriate post, rather than simply deleting it.
10 Movies Comment Response
Comments on this blog will be responded to in direct response to the blog comment. The blogger may occasionally respond privately via email or other communication method to a blog comment.
Deletion or Editing of Comments
We will never delete or censor a comment unless it is:
- is abusive
- attacks a fellow commenter or author of this blog directly (ie. personally)
- contains excessive foul language
- contains or promotes hate of any kind (ie. a direct attack on someone’s race, creed, colour, sexual orientation, etc)
- is blatantly spam
Please note that repetitive abuse of the comments policy may have you added to our comments blacklist. We really don’t want to do that. Please don’t make us. We currently use Akismet and no software is perfect. We apologize if it thinks you’re spam! We’ll do our best to rectify.
Comment Hasn’t Appeared?
If you leave a comment on this blog and it does not appear in a reasonable time period, and you know that it does not violate these Comment Policies, contact the blogger via our Contact Form.
URLs in Comments
Gotta say, we don’t love it. If you need to reference something specific that’s no issue, but leaving a comment that says “Great post!” and your URL is almost Spam. Worse yet, it’s just bad etiquette. We enable CommentLuv on this blog and do not use NoFollow because we love our commenters. We hope very much that you’ll appreciate these tools and not leave your URL in the body of your message. “Comment Love” goes both ways.
